Home Conference program Call for poster abstracts

Theme & topics - Submission & Criteria - Deadlines - Online Poster Abstract Submission

Previous editions enjoyed attendance levels of approximately 450 academics and industrialists, visiting both the exhibition and the conference. As in preceding Netherlands MicroNanoConferences the topics will span basic research, engineering science, technology, equipment, instrumentation and industrial applications / business aspects.
The program will feature internationally renowned keynote speakers presenting important trends and major accomplishments in their fields. Invited and contributed oral presentations will be grouped in four parallel sessions completed with poster presentations and tabletop presentations. All lectures and poster presentations are in English.

We like to draw your attention to the fact that it is still possible to send in posters for the Netherlands Micronanoconference in November. The Program Committee will reward the three best posters. The best poster will also get a presentation slot in the next year’s conference!

We kindly invite you to submit your abstract to one of the themes below and indicate under which theme you would like to present:

Enabling life science

Bionano science, systems and technology - Microsytems for Life Sciences - Lab-on-chip - Nanomedicine - Microfluidics

Towards a safe and sustainable society

Food - Clean Water - Energy - Risk Analyses - Responsible use of Technology

Innovations in fabrication and instrumentation

Nanofabrication - Microfactory - Modelling and Design of Microsystems - Micro- and Nanofluidics - Sensors and Actuators - Advanced Nanoprobing - Nanoinstrumentation and -tools - Microreactors - Self Assembly

Photonics, Electronics

Beyond Moore - Bottom-up Electronics - Light-on-Chip - Micro- and Nanophotonics - Nanoelectronic Materials – Spintronics - Systems Integration - Packaging

Nanoscience and technology

Nanomechanics – Nanomaterials - Molecular Machines - Fundamental experiments and theory in Quantum Physics and Quantum Computing

Abstracts must be written in English, should not exceed 1 A4 (maximum of 300 words) and must be submitted electronically.

Abstract submission is only open for poster presentations. Online submission is closed.

Criteria to select contributions for the Netherlands MicroNanoConference ’11 are:
